About Me

Electrical Mechanical Engineer with postgraduate training applied to technical and regulatory consultancy in energy companies, with experience in operating electricity transmission lines based on solid knowledge of electrical power systems and the electricity market, preparation of electrical studies for new facilities, protection of electrical power systems and mastery of various engineering software. I stand out developing efficiently at all levels, with responsibility and proactivity.

I have the capacity for self-learning, analytical and high productive efficiency, team leadership and leadership, which allow me to solve complex problems in the different areas and activities of the electricity sector. My works like Head of electromechanical projects were: Due Diligence for definitive engineering study of the Nimpana Hydroelectric Power Plant of Compañía Minera Poderosa. Supervision of the sizing study and economic technical evaluation of the 1MW solar photovoltaic plant for self-consumption by Agrícola Huarmey S.A. Supervision of the study of the current status and impact of the SEIN binding transmission plans not executed and the issuance of a technical report for MINEM. Supervision of technical studies for Medium Voltage Electrical Utilization Systems for Herco S.A.C.

Some activities developed like Engineer of electromechanical projects were: High Voltage electrical analysis report to connect new projects to the National Interconnected Electric System (SEIN). Technical and economic evaluations for reactive compensation projects. Evaluation report of the Transmission Regulatory Framework in Peru for companies interested in investing in the Peruvian electricity market (e.g., Pöyry Management Consulting). Preparation of the Action Plan for the Promotion of Electric Vehicles in Lima – MODINVECI Project for CONCYTEC.

In Control & Protection area I developed functions like: Preparation of failure analysis reports in the transmission systems (220 kV and 500 kV) for the COES Technical Failure Analysis Committee, diagnosing the problem and proposing corrective actions. Supervision of electrical tests in the factory and in the field for the commissioning of transmission lines and associated substations in 220 kV and 500 kV. Supervision and preparation of maintenance reports of protection circuits and control of protection equipment for transmission lines, transformers, reactors, reactive compensation equipment in 220 kV and 500 kV.

In Operations area, my functions were: Supervision and monitoring of transmission system parameters and participation in the performance of yard equipment operation maneuvers in electrical substations and from the Control Center (SCADA) according to current regulations. Preparation of monthly operation and maintenance reports for ATN / ATS projects (Abengoa Transmission North/Abengoa Transmission South) evaluating performance indicators for the COES system operator and the regulatory entity OSINERGMIN. Preparation and evaluation of Compensation for the 500kV and 220kV transmission systems due to power supply interruptions.
